June at Sharpham.
£350.00
This is a view in June, looking down to the river Dart, across Sharpham Marsh towards the town of Totnes. The horizon of Dartmoor National park makes a lovely backdrop. The landscape’s rhythm gradually changes as we move from one season to another, this has been a focus in much of my work over the years.
I wanted to portray the energy and heat of June the movement of trees and bushes the changing light. I sometimes feel that the tree lines and hedgerows and fields are like sections of an orchestra.
