Portraits, Commissions and Collaborations

 I really enjoy creative thinking and love to explore with different materials and techniques. If you have something you need to express or make, let’s fix a time and have talk about it. To collaborate together or to have something made for yourself or someone you know.We can do this!

I have been fortunate enough to have worked as part of a small collective of interdisciplinary artists for the Bioregional learning centre. This involved documenting the Saltmarsh project as a visual artist and several shows and talks, along with regular discussions and sharing of ideas. A group of interdisciplinary artists were banded together to interpret the Saltmarshes alongside a team of scientists and ecologists. This is an on going collaboration taking new avenues and nuanced pathways over time.

With family members who have run both portrait studios in London and Buenos Aries as well as careers as miniaturist artists, it is time to set out my stall more boldly. Both self portraiture itself and having sitters in the studio require a great degree of visual listening. Knowing the subject a little more and focusing on the process itself is an dialogue.
