Small studies using Phthalo blue acrylics on paper. Cityscapes contrast strongly with natural forms found in landscapes. The lines and patterns of man made forms, the regularity and structure which tempts me to inject it it with or organic marks as I interpret what is before me. I scan the sky line and look for trees or parks.
Staying in room 530 Bristol Templemeads during August, this was a view that had many aspects to it.
This painting in acrylic using phthalo blue is partnered by a slightly larger version using phthalo green.
The view from quite a height in the hotel was very captivating to my mind.
