A Rembrandt pastel drawing on acid free paper, 420mm x 297mm. These are such a joy to see in the garden as an early Spring covering in the beds. The delicate blue flowers and gorgeous stems are intriguing to draw, they do wilt quickly though. The drawing here meant working swiftly and decisively to capture these little flashes of blue on their delicate stems which are slender with tiny hairs.
