Ripples

A print offered to enhance the sense of space.

Having visited the Dalmatian coast for the first time I was transfixed by the beautiful waters. I am making a body of work based on my visit and will be adding more. I shall be printing and doing more mixed drawing and paintings to provide a sense of place. On this piece I thoroughly enjoyed working in layers of texture, adding gesso and fixing in layers. This was the first time that I used iron dust with the layers of gesso. I think some of these may work well when hung together.  

This print is from an original pastel drawing on paper that measures 420mm x 297mm that was made in July 2024.
