This is a pastel drawing of the view across the meadows looking toward the labyrinth that was commissioned by the Baylis family on the Canonteign estate.
As part of process, I have worked from my charcoal drawing, as I work towards several paintings.
The summer meadows are filled with butterflies and the back drop of the wooded hills up toward the waterfall is really very lovely to look at.
