Shadows in Templemeads

Staying in room 530 Bristol Templemeads during August, this was a view that had many aspects to it. Around the corner far below the room I stayed was constantly busy. the roof lines are not like London or Paris the are uniquely Bristol. I shall explore this theme more. As it reminds me somehow of the book series “This Is London, Paris etc “ by Miroslav Sasek in which the very caricature of each city is portrayed in such an embracing way.
This painting in acrylic using phthalo green is partnered by a slightly smaller version using phthalo blue.
