Winter at Sharpham marsh is romantic and sensual. The elements can rush along the river Dart blowing through the reed bed. These reed beds are a vital carbon sink and have a very important environmental contribution to make. To have the honour to sit and draw, using the mud and snapped reeds at my feet is a real reward. Mother nature and natural rhythms of the seasons.
Looking down the river Dart toward the hills, as the river winds her way down the valley toward Dartmouth.
